Texas state and local government

This editorial as we may call it done by the University Of Texas at Austin is such a great reading because it really gives you key points to how this state really started from the beginning of the constitution of 1875 all the way to how counties operate. This reading provided to the community is really great because it does not give you many details and instead, it goes straight to the point. This reading starts off with a brief history of how Texas started and what the main population was back then. Also, another interesting fact was how the role of county organizations was done. Starting from having a county court, down to county treasurer and all the good stuff we now have. In addition, the way county's are currently operating really caught my attention because honestly who really pays attention to county operations and how taxes are distributed. This reading really does a great job in hitting important points of how counties operate and provide a much better understanding of where the tax money is really going. This is a short but great reading I recommend reading it could probably take less than five minutes but in this short amount of time you will benefit of great information.
